| Milladoiro fills the Colon Theatre to play its new songs |

The musical group Milladoiro launched the last 25th of November in the Colón Theatre in A Coruña the songs of its new job, "A Quinta das lágrimas", in a free concert because of the reason in the conmemoration of the International day for the elimination of the violence against women.The show counted on the special collaboration of the fado singer from Lisbon Mafalda Arnauth. The thirty years of career of the band are useful to demonstrate that Milladoiro is totally on shape and ready to captivate all kind of audiences. Yesterday, in the Colón Theatre, a lot of young people approached to check on live the gorgeous combination of tradition and music that made the band to become famous.
Milladoiro wanted to show gratitude to the public from Coruña, "who always treat really good the artists"and as well to Inés de Castro, Queen of Portugal after her death. "This album is dedicated to her and to all the women who suffer sexist violence and as well to the place where started her sad and beautiful story, the Quinta das Lágriamas", they explained during the concert. During the almost two hours of show, the band formed by Antón Seoane, Moncho García, Pepe Ferreirós, Nando Casal, Manuel Conde, Roi Casal, Harry .C and Laura Amado was playing a repertoire that included all their big clasics. And at the end of the concert, the public that love,respect and wait them for the next time, had faces of satisfaction. |
